<p>The expression values were transformed using the Variance Stabilizing Transformation (VST), and normalized with the Robust Spline Normalization (RSN) algorithm using the LumiR R package. After normalization, the ComBat software was used to adjust for batch effects using an empirical Bayes method.</p>
