<CODE>evals = eigdec(x, N</CODE> computes the largest <CODE>N</CODE> eigenvalues of the
matrix <CODE>x</CODE> in descending order. <CODE>[evals, evec] = eigdec(x, N)</CODE>
also computes the corresponding eigenvectors.
